Brand-Inspired Holiday Motion Graphics

*Voluntary*

This holiday season I felt very inspired by a clothing and lifestyle brand I grew up admiring. I had an almost immediate idea for both graphics and started by creating the vision that was in my head. I created a single image for each and later added a couple different frames so that I could turn each graphic into a gif. I presented both motion graphics to the company with their logo present, but because I have never worked for this company, I pixelated their logo on my work below.

My goal for this first graphic was to portray a scrap book to bring back nostalgic holiday feelings, while I created a design based around the company’s initial.

I knew I wanted to create a plaid pattern from scratch, so for this second motion graphic, I incorporated five different patterns into a gif that I felt were both festive and in-line with the brand.
